Best Ramadan Special Meat Samosa Recipe
First of all I would like to wish you Happy Ramadan. The holy month has just started and everyone is looking for best dishes and recipes. That's why I am presenting you one of my favorite Samosa Recipe. It is called Potato and Meat Samosa.
Meat and potatoes are the main ingredients of these wonderful deep fried samosas. Alternatively you may use Chicken.
Ingredients of Special Ramadan Meat Samosas
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 cup thawed peas
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 crushed bay leaf
- 2 chopped large onions
- 1 pound ground meat
- 4 crushed cloves garlic,
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons chopped green chile peppers
- 1 quart oil for deep frying
- 1 (16 ounce) package phyllo dough
Method of Making Special Ramadan Meat Samosas
Get a medium saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Stir in potatoes and peas. Cook for 15 minutes until potatoes are tender but still firm. Drain, mash together and set aside.Get a large saucepan over medium high heat, heat the oil. Brown cumin seeds and bay leaf. Mix in onions and ground meat. Cook 5 minutes until meat is evenly brown and onions are soft. Mix in garlic, fresh ginger root. Season with black pepper, salt, cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, cinnamon and cardamom. Stir in the mashed potato mixture. Remove from heat and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, or until it gets cool.
Heat oil in a large, heavy saucepan over high heat.
Mix cilantro and green chile peppers into the potato and meat mixture. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture onto each phyllo sheet. Fold sheets into triangles, pressing edges together with moistened fingers.
In small batches, fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Chicken Jalfrezi
- Chicken Jalfrezi is a very Delicious Chinese Recipe but it is also liked in Pakistan.
Ingredients
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
- Soya sauce 1-2 tbsp
- Garlic chopped 4 cloves
- Ginger chopped 1 inch piece
- Onion finely chopped 1
- White pepper 1/4 tsp
- Chinese salt 1 tsp
- Chili sauce 2 tbsp
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Ketchup 1/2 cup
- Tomato 1 (cubed)
- Red chili 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Curry powder 1/2 tsp
- White pepper 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Capsicum 1 (cubed)
- Onion 1 (cubed)
- Oil 100 ml
- Chicken stock 4-5 tbsp
Method
Marinate chicken with soya sauce 1 tbsp, salt a pinch, Chinese salt 1/2 tsp, white pepper 1/4 tsp. In pan heat oil and sauté ginger and garlic. Add marinated chicken and cook.
Add turmeric, red chili, Curry powder, white pepper, Chicken stock, tomato paste, chili sauce, soya sauce, ketchup and mix well. Add all the vegetables and simmer.
When ready, serve hot with boiled or egg fried rice.

Delicious Shami kabab
Shami Kabab is a very Delicious Recipe of my Mom. When I Cooked the Shami Kabab, I feel a new Taste every Time. Now I am Sharing this Recipe with You. First of all Noted down the Ingredients.
Qeema: 1/2 Kg
Dal Chana: 1 medium Cup
Ginger: 2 inch piece
Garlic: 5-7 pieces
Red Chillis hot: 10 piece
Salt: according to your Taste
Garam Masala: 1 Table Spoon
Zera: 1 table spoon
Black pepper: 10-15 piece
Onion: 1 medium Chopped
Green Pepper: 2 Chopped
Dhaniya: few Leaves
Eggs: 2
Take Dal and dip in Water for 3-4 Hours. when Dal becomes soft, take Pressure Cooker, pour some water and put all above things init expcet green chili and Dhaniya leave. When Cooker Start Whistling, then wait for 20 minutes. After 20 Minutes turn off the stove, open cooker and see Water has dried or not. If Water not dried then dry it. Wait some time and Chopped the mixture in Chopper. Add green chilis and dhaniya leaves and make the shapes of Shami Kabab. Beat the eggs, dip 1 kabab in egg and fry. Yours Delicious Shami Kabab is Ready. Enjoy with Rice or Tea.

Spicy and Hot Delicious Potatoes
This dish is favorite throughout the Pakistan. It is served with hot non and chapattis. The heat level can be reduced by using less chilies and mustard seeds. You can use it for sandwich filling. It is wonderful in toasted sandwiches.
When they begin to crackle add the diced potatoes, onions and all ground spices. Cover the pan, reduce the heat and allow cooking for 15 to 20 minutes. Add little water if needed.
Cut the ginger into large pieces then add ginger, salt and sugar to the pan. Cook for further 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat stir the lemon juice.
Garnished the dish with chopped tomatoes.

- 1 onion cut into large dice
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 chopped tomatoes for garnished
- 1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon oil

Yummy Peanuts Chicken Recipe
Peanuts Chicken is very delicious and healthy dish. Usually ground nut oil is traditionally used in this recipe but I like to use vegetables and sunflower oil in it.
1 big onion
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tea spoon ginger paste
2 big tomatoes
Half teaspoon chilli powder
200 g peanuts without salt
Half teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoon vegetable or sunflower oil
Ingredients
900 g chicken thighs or drumsticks1 big onion

Method
Take oil in a pan then cooked chicken until it browned all over. After that remove chicken and put on a tissue paper. In the same oil fry the onion and cooked. When its look ready, add black pepper, ginger, tomatoes, chili powder and peanuts. Return the chicken into pan, cover and cooked for 20 minutes. You may need to add little water if the chicken begin to stick to the pan. Stir the salt and sugar. Serve with chopped onion, green chillis and green leaves if liked.Saturday, February 25, 2012
Lovely spiced cabbage
This is a very delicious dish for vegetarians.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 1 ½ teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 chopped green chili
- 1 dried red chili
- 350 g cabbage
- 75g carrots
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt
- Juice of lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander
Method
Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard and cumin seeds. When its begin to crackle, add turmeric, curry leaves, ginger and chilies. Add cabbage and carrots.
Reduce the heat. Cover the pan and allow cooking for about 15 -20 minutes. Add sugar and salt according to your taste. Sprinkle with lemon juice and chopped coriander. You can serve it hot or cold
