When I was younger, green peppers were available only in the months of November December and January but now we can found it all year around. It is also called Chili Chicken sometimes.
Ingredients
- 3 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 2 teaspoon garam masala
- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt according to your taste
- ½ chicken breast slices
- 2 small onions chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 200g tomato paste
- 100g green peppers strips
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 100 ml cream
Method
Take a bowl and put into 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon oil, ginger and 1 teaspoon of salt and mix well. Add chicken pieces and left it about 2 hours for marinate. Take remaining oil in a pan, add onions and fry for 10-15 minutes. Add ginger paste and fry it for 1 minute. Add chopped tomatoes and cook it for 10 minutes on medium heat. When it becomes ready then adds salt green peppers, sugar, cream and remaining garam masala. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Cook the marinate chicken in a hot frying pan or under a preheat grill for 5-8 minutes each side. Arrange in a serving dish and pour tomatoes and peppers sauce over the top. Garnished with cream and serve hot.
